Nordic Light™ is a window covering concept developed
for consumers with high design, function and quality
requirements. All the products are custom made, inspired
by the Nordic light and will add delight and atmosphere
to the room.
Nordic Light™ has its roots in the Nordic tradition,
in which, simplicity and nearness to nature are closely
linked.
Nordic light is associated with the Skägen area
in Denmark and is a legendary light condition. Just
like plants. Human beings need sunlight to flourish.
We are more open to our environment, happier and more
positive when the sun shines. In the Nordic countries,
people have learnt to take advantage of the light and
delight in it. More than in many other places. The long
dark winter months mean that they do not take the sun
for granted. Instead, they enjoy it fully when it returns.
Nordic Light™ products are about creating a balance
between the technical component, material, patterns
and the colours. Together they form a whole, which captures
sunlight and creates atmosphere, and thereby giving
Nordic Light its unique character.
